Many years ago I walked into Leanne’s office as a 25 year old who hadn’t done a tax return in a few years, and handed her a shoebox full of receipts. Instead of telling me to go away and add it all up, she happily took the box and sorted out my finances. Ten years later, as the Director of a successful marketing agency, I turn to Leanne constantly for advice on business, tax, our property portfolio, and generally anything that has to do with money! Leanne provides valuable support to me and my wife, and goes out of her way to make sure we are getting the best result on our tax. After supporting us through being sole traders, she then set up our Trust and company structures, set up our accounting systems, and continues to provide day to day finance and business advice as well as doing our Activity statements, financials, tax returns, and anything else we need relating to finances. She genuinely cares about supporting us, and often goes above what we pay her to do. We would be lost without her!  

I met Leanne to complete my personal income tax return after using the same accountant for many years.  Although my return is not overly complicated, Leanne was able to talk me through all my rental property deductions, ensuring that I had claimed everything I was entitled to.  She is pleasant, and when I returned the following year, she picked up the discussion where we had left off.

So glad I found Leanne!  She has simplified my business and personal tax compliance, so that I can focus on running the business.  Prior to Leanne taking over, every month, my wife and I spent hours going through invoices, bills and bank statements.  Now Leanne can provide me with reports showing me how the business is performing each quarter.  And as far as managing payment summaries, taxable payments reports and other compliance issues, Leanne has got it all covered.

A few years back, I wanted to explore operating a self managed superfund, as I’m interested in investing in shares, so I mentioned it to Leanne in our annual catch up to prepare my income tax return.  She was able to set it up, explained the benefits and the “costs” (monetary and time).  Years later, she is looking after the compliance for the fund, keeping me on track, and I’m enjoying having control of my superannuation money.
